It has been brought to my attention that there are some people who object to being called a Chickenhawk. Many of those that helped bring about the war in Iraq by repeating the LIES and deceiving the public but feel that they are too good to serve their country are now crying and pouting about being called Chickenhawks. Well, to call these sniveling cowards Chickenhawks is an insult to the nobel birds of prey that bear that name. Anyone that would desire death and distruction for innocent people in order to gain partisan advantage is beneath contempt. Those people of military age that favor the war with Iraq and support the politicians that thrive on the public's fear yet feel that military service is beneath them are in essence PARASITES that feed off the sacrifice of others. How will history judge these social PARASITES that were enthusiastic male cheerleaders for the carnage and bloodshed of an unnecessary war but were not man enough to rise to the occation when their country needed them. Most of the people that SAY they support the troops are LIARS. All they do is put the little yellow ribbon stickers (made in China) on their SUVs and they feel satisfied. The support our troops need is for more boots on the ground, so why don't these republicans have the courage to fill those boots? Do they think that slandering a mother that has made the ultimate sacrifice is more important than helping cover the backsides of the troops in the field. As public opinion turns against these PARASITES, perhaps they will find their strength of character. But don't bet on it.

Look out people! Remember what happened the last Bush's approval ratings were this low? That was right before Sept. 11, 2001. Bush then recieved a gift from the bin-Laden family that he has since paid back many times over. Both parties got what they wanted. The criminal organization that had taken over the White House needed an excuse to grab the oil in Iraq and so it was handed to them. It was an inside job. Most of the people on this planet see Bush for what he is. How wrong can 5 billion people be? So we need to brace ourselves for what is to come, because these warmongers thrive off terror. When that day comes, Americans will be expected to rally around the flag and get behind the president, that's how they operate. Most Americans are not willing to believe that their president is capable of such massive treachery.
What can we do to save our country from this malignant cancer? Anyone that rises up to speak the truth can expect to be hammered down, even the grieving mother of a soldier that has made the ultimate sacrifice for his country. No one is safe. Yet there must be a way out of the darkness that has this country in its grip. It is not violence! That is their way. Be strong and don't fall into the traps they will set for you.

The excuses for the Iraq war keep changing. At first, it was weapons of mass destruction. None were found and so that excuse was proven to be a lie. Then, the excuse became the spread of democracy(at gunpoint), freedom on the march or some such hollow slogan. But the ugly torture business has proven that to be a lie. Then the next excuse was that the American occupation was needed to contain the chaos that was created by-THE AMERICAN OCCUPATION. Now the chickenhawks are rolling out the new excuse that this war is necessary to honor those who have died for the lies that got them killed. So now more lives have to be poured down this rathole in order to honor- THE LIVES THAT HAVE BEEN POURED DOWN THIS RATHOLE. The truth is that they keep war going in order to win elections and cast the opposition as being weak on defense. They are going to keep this war going thru the mid-term elections and then to get Cheney elected and then the mid-term elections and then to get Cheney re-elected and on and on until the wheels fall off the thing. Starting an unnecessary war is like riding a tiger, getting on is easy, but the dismount is dangerous.

There is a very good article in the Washington Post today http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/19/AR2005081900815.html?nav=hcmodule about how those who are less likely to enlist in the armed forces are more likely to support the war because they see no risk in for themselves. Where's the outrage? Right here. That's what I'm all about.

After the attacks of September 11, I was moved to seek out armed forces recruiters in an effort to volunteer. Unfortunately, I was told that I am too old, even though I run the marathon and I’m in better physical condition than most 18 year olds. Being an honorably discharged veteran I fully understand the discipline involved in serving overseas. The armed forces appear to be locked into a policy of denying this country the wealth of experience that my generation has to offer. Regrettably the younger generation of those who are eligible for military service have failed to rise to the challenge. This country needs leadership but all we have is a male cheerleader in the white house. A true leader should inspire young people to join the struggle. Bush has inspired a multitude of young men to join the struggle - for the other side.
War is a serious business, it should be done right or not at all. The politicians that started this war have failed to provide the resources needed for a successful outcome. By going about it in such a half-assed way they have placed this nation in great peril, that is both stratigic and economic. If these war supporters were sincere about supporting the troops they would have enlisted by now, because the support our troops need now is for more boots on the ground to cover their backsides. There are two costs of war, BLOOD AND TREASURE. In past wars the troops in the field have at least been confident that the wealthy class of this country have made their contribution, not so this time around. The tax cuts enjoyed by the top 1% reveal the second front being waged in this war. The first is the evangelical cursade against Islam and the second is the class warefare being waged against the working class of this country. Those who support this war and do not enlist are not only moral cowards they are dispicible parasites that feed off the sacrifice of the few who do serve.
